Bombay High Court gets three permanent judges
The Center on Monday advised the arrangement of three extra appointed authorities of Bombay High Court as long-lasting adjudicators and broadened residency of one more extra appointed authority of the HC by a year.
“In exercise of the power presented by provision (l) of Article 217 and by statement (l) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President, later conference with the Chief Justice of India, is satisfied to name the accompanying as Judges/Additional Judge of the accompanying High Courts, w.e.f. the date they expect charge of their particular workplaces, vide warnings dated 03.01.2022… ” the notice expressed.
While Justices Madhav Jayajirao Jamdar, Amit Bhalchandra Borkar and Shrikant Dattatray Kulkarni were delegated extremely durable adjudicators, Justice Abhay Ahuja’s residency has been stretched out as an extra appointed authority by a year.In July last year the Bombay HC Collegium had suggested names of five extra adjudicators — Justices Jamdar, Borkar, Kulkarni, Ahuja, and Justice Pushpa Ganediwala — to be named long-lasting adjudicators.
